Tracy Jane Comer is a native of North Carolina now living in Madison, Wisconsin. A multi-instrumentalist and captivating performer, Tracy earned nominations for both BEST ACOUSTIC ARTIST and BEST ACOUSTIC ALBUM in the 2004 and 2005 Madison Area Music Awards. Her original music is subtly influenced by a varied background that includes everything from classical to pop/rock to folk to show tunes to choral music and many things in between ... even a touch of blues/jazz. Tracy has been honored three times by Song of the Year International Song-writing Contest and is a recipient of the ASCAP Plus Award. She has been compared to greats such as Joni Mitchell, Dar Williams, Emily Saliers, Judy Collins, Patty Griffin, Joan Baez, Rickie Lee Jones, Shawn Colvin and suzanne Vega. She has performed five full television concerts in addition to making numerous guest appearances on both radio and television.
